Product: Hp laptop
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)
My laptop screen displays Message, boot device not found. Please install operating system on your hard disk. 3f0. When I reboot it works fine but the problem has now occurred for a second time and screen goes black and monitor goes to sleep mode

Hi,
It could be that your hard drive is starting to fail. Use some programs to run some diagnostics and start backing up you personal files. If it is bad you will need to replace it. Programs for diagnostics:
Crystal disk info
http://crystalmark.info/download/index-e.html
HD tune:
http://www.hdtune.com/download.html
Use these to see health of drive.
