Missing Device Drivers

Hi:

You need these drivers for some of the devices you listed...

Base system devices:

The JMicron Media Card Reader Driver enables the integrated media card slot in supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63637.exe

PCI Simple Communications Controller:

This package provides the Intel Management Engine Interface (MEI) Driver for the supported notebook models and operating systems. The Intel Management Engine Interface enables communication between the host operating system and the Intel Management Engine firmware.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp63501-64000/sp63661.exe

Unknown Device:

This package provides the HP 3D DriveGuard Software for supported notebook models that are running a supported operating system. HP 3D DriveGuard Software protects the hard drive by parking the heads if the notebook is accidentally dropped, or is abruptly impacted by another object.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp62501-63000/sp62981.exe

After you install the above drivers and restart the PC, please post the hardware ID's for the remaining devices that need drivers.

To find the hardware ID, go to the device manager and click on the device(s) needing drivers.

Then click on the Details tab at the top of the device window.

Now you will see a Property drop down list and it will be set to Device Description.

Drop down on that list and select the 3rd item (hardware ID's).

Post the top string of characters that you see in the window.
