Missing OS - HP Pavilion g7 1077 Notebook

HP Recommended
Pavilion g7 1077
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I was resetting my laptop last night, and turned it on this morning to discover an error message saying simply that there was no OS found. I ran the Startup menu, and have been running diagnostics tests all day to no avail. I am unsure as to how this can be fixed.

Sounds like a bad HDD and it has died. There is no real way to fix this other then to buy the HP Recovery disk for your model from hp if they still have them and replace your HDD and restore it.
