Hi bro! I have a problem need your help:

i'm using hp probooks 4430s.

Missing driver for "Base system device" x2 and PCi simple communication controller after Windows 7 install on laptop

PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 35, device 0, function 0)

PCI Slot 2 (PCI bus 35, device 0, function 3)

....

Without the hardware ID's, I can only guess based on the partial info you submitted.

 

Install the chipset driver first and reboot if you have not done so already.

I think the Base System Device is the card reader.

Hi:

 

Please go to the device manager and click on the device that needs drivers. Then click on the details tab.

 

In the Properties drop down list, select the second item (Hardware ID's).

 

Post the top string of characters you see in the window.

 

Those will identify the type and model of the missing device, and I can send you the link to the drivers you need.
