My HP dm4 will not turn on

My laptop will not turn on.  The logo, wifi kep, and the on button all blink once along with a corresponding beep.  A hard reset did not solve the problem.

Hello @tcb3,

Thank you for seeking help on the HP Forums!

I came across your post and wanted to help you resolve the HP Pavilion dm4-2180us not turning on.

I understand you have already tried it but start with a hard reset. Next, follow the troubleshooting steps in this document:

HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10)

Try matching the light blinking code with a symptom in the document, that will narrow down the possible faults.

Hopefully these steps help you get your HP Pavilion dm4-2180us back up and running!

If the information has helped you click the thumbs up!
