I go to devise mananger and it shows a yellow exlamation mark next to the universal serial bus. I've tried to update the driver but there no driver installed.

HP does not has any new driver, so you will have to get from the Recovery Manager.
Please follow the steps from Using Recovery Manager to Restore Software and Drivers (Windows 😎.
