I don't know if we have the same computer or not but what i did was click the windows icon on the task bar the click the settings (cog wheel icon) then go to networks and Internet settings. Then what was labeled as status i scrolled down and saw a reset driver option. Clicked it and then just let it do it's thing. Don't click on anything else until it's done. I think it automatically restarted but if not might need to restart after that. Then it was all good from there. I hope it works for you!

Literally the same thing happened to me today. Turned my computer off, turned it back on and WIfi is gone. Not just missing, but entirely gone. Device Manager doesn't offer a solution, a search of my laptop finds nothing. It's gone. I don't know how to get it back, or what the heck happened.
