My WiFi won't connect

Pavilion x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
My convertible laptop is not connection or even picking up wifi. My WiFi is working as I am logged on via tablet & cellphone. Please help me to resolve. I had not logged in in a few days and it took longer than usual to open. I tried restart but it hasn't completed that task still saying "working on updates don't turn off computer." It's also initial when first opening was slow to respond to commands to open apps and features.

My WiFi won't connect

Hi

Perhaps resetting some of the Wi-Fi settings may help.

If you can open a text editor like Notepad and copy and paste the text below into it and save it as netfixer.bat, somewhere easy to locate, like your documents folder.  Then if you can click and run as adminstrator you will have some options, and I suggest choosing 4, 5, 7, D, E and finally F.  You re-run and select other options, and edit if you so wish.

:: NetFixer.bat, Copy, Paste and Save As
:: using a text editor like Notepad.
:: You can edit the file to your needs.
:: EG-Removing the :: in front of
:: ::ipconfig -all >>IPs.txt to create
:: a text file called IPs.txt to study.
:: Run as Administrator for best effect.
