My hp Pavilion au-063 laptop died when I plugged my mouse in the USB port

My new hpPavilion au-063 laptop that I've bought less than 4 months ago died when I plugged the wireless mouse into the USB port as I do everyday. (Obviously I am writing from a different computer) My hp laptop had the option for me to chat with a tech  -  a tech actually remotely worked on the hp laptop for a different issue a while ago. I downloaded Support Assistance program on this computer I am using at the moment but I can't find the option to chat with a tech.  Or I need a phone number ro call. The hp laptop should still be on warranty  as I bought it on Sept 21, 2016.

Hi,

Your warranty is valid and HP technical support would help you further. They would ask you to do few troubleshooting steps and may be send in the machine for repair.

Contact HP: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-contact-us.html

Phone assist: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/contact-hp/ww-phone-assist.html

Get the product details and invoice ready before contacting.

Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05228250

Back up all your personal data before troubleshooting.
