HP Notebook

Recently i havent been able to charge my laptop unless it is off. When ive tried to charge it whilst it is on the LED light flashes white.

My sister has the same laptop so i tried her charger and my laptop still wouldnt charge, i tried swapping the batteries and trying both chargers again and nothing changed.

Also i keep getting a message when i start up my latop it says.

"Product information not valid

The following product information programmed into the system board is missing or invalid

System board (00A) - System board CT number"

Sometimes,  i also get a message saying that the charger im using is supplying insufficient power, but when ive used another charger it still doesnt work so im not sure what the problem is.

Hello @asvptay,

Welcome to FORUM !!!

Was your PC serviced by HP recently or was there a system board replacement done ??

You might see this message after the system board is replaced.
The message indicates that the serial number was not entered, or was entered incorrectly, after replacing the system board or other component.
To resolve this issue, contact HP.
