Since there is no model number mentioned, did this PC come with Windows 10 already installed or was it upgraded?
It does seem there are files in the D; drive from what you posted.

I do not have an HP with Windows 10 preinstalled ATM to check - but on previous Windows the 😧 drive would show up with a padlock symbol when in the file explorer window. Does your look that way?

I will have a HP with Windows 10 from the factory shortly and will be able to comment with more knowledge but for now, lets just say that " free is only 1.52gb and the used is 12.7gb" - could be normal.
