I use a program called rehab optima for work.  I am not able to open this program at home because my security setting on this computer says it cannot be downloaded.  I have tried numerous things to remedy this problem, security setting have been turned down to medium which does not work, I have unplugged the router, no luck, had it taken to the computer store numerous times, rehab optima will open at the store but not at my home.   The funny thing is, my desk top computer allows this program, with the same security setting. HELP. I need this computer for a worksite.

Hello @Oberlin,

Welcome to the HP Forums, I hope you enjoy your experience! To help you get the most out of the HP Forums I would like to direct your attention to the HP Forums Guide First Time Here? Learn How to Post and More.

I have read your post on how you are not able to open a particular program on your notebook computer using your home network, and I would be happy to help you!

To further diagnose this issue, I recommend pinging the IP address of the website you mentioned in the post above: 144.76.56.227. To ping this address, please follow the steps below:

Step 1. Click the Start button
Step 2. In the search box, type "Command Prompt"

Step 3. Click on Command Prompt

Step 4. Type "ping 144.76.56.227" and hit Enter

This should help determine if your notebook is able to communicate successfully with the website. If you are not able to get any replies back from the Ping, it is likely an issue with the router or the ISP. If you are able to get all replies back successfully, it is most likely an issue with the router's firewall.

For further assistance with your Internet service or your router, please contact your ISP.

Please re-post with the results of your troubleshooting, and I look forward to your reply!

Regards :smileyhappy:
