NEW LAPTOP WILL NOT START

PAVILION X 2 10.1 N100 LAPTO
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

RECEIVED MY NEW LAPTOP TODAY.  PLUGGED IN THE AC AND IT WENT BLACK SCREEN.  WILL NOT START NOW.

WHAT CAN I DO.  OR IS THIS A BAG LAPTOP.
