You're very welcome, Ian.
If you get stuck with finding any drivers, just let me know.
Hi, don2510:
Below is the link to the driver you need for the card reader (PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_5289):

You're very welcome, Don.
You beat me by a year.
I retired in 97 from the Integrated Support Command in St. Louis.
E-City is very nice.
I visited there in the early 90s when I was stationed in Portsmouth, VA.
Semper Paratus!

Hey Paul,
I have been using this forum a lot as a reference to get my drivers downloaded to this computer. I have downloaded all the drivers, but I am still having issues installing the bluetooth driver.
Unfortunately, I do not have a hardware ID for the bluetooth as I can't find it in the device manager.
I can pull up Devices and Printers and click on "Add a device", but it just sits there and searches. It won't find my old iPhone at all. I kind of wonder if the BT drivers I have tried have not worked. If you can find a compatible one, that would be great!

Hi:
I'm not surprised that you can't find the bluetooth device or driver for your m6-1105dx, because that model does not have bluetooth.
Below is the link to the product specs page for your model. If it had bluetooth, it would have been listed next to the Wireless Connectivity specfication.

Thank you for your quick reply though! I will be cleaning up some drivers on it after everything is done.

You're very welcome.
If you would like to have bluetooth, you can opt to purchase one of the supported wireless/bluetooth cards listed in chapter 3, page 28 of the service manual for your notebook.

It must be one of those listed and it must have the HP part # on it or it will not work.
None of the Intel cards listed would work in your notebook since it has AMD hardware.

Hello Paul (and anyone else),
I have the same issue as one of your earlier users.
I, in a fit of W8 furry, wiped my laptop hdd and installed W7 without looking for the drivers. I am wondering if you were able to help me. I have W7 X64 Ultimate installed.
HP 2000-2b53CA Notebook PC
Product Number: C2M48UA
I seem to have found the Ralink 802.11 b/g/n Wifi Adapter and the Wired Lan. I have also installed a display driver that seems to work.
Device Manbager - Display Adapters - Standard VGA Graphics Adapter. I'm assuming this is fine?
These seem to be my missing drivers:
Device Manager - Other devices
PCI Device
PCI Simple Communications Controller
SM Bus Controller
Thanks in advance for any help,
Casperism

Hi, Casperism:
You are missing the display adapter driver too.
It should be an Intel HD graphics adapter listed, not a standard vga adapter.
As it stands, you cannot change your screen resolution nor do you have any graphics acceleration.
Use all of the W7 x64 drivers from this HP 2000 model, and you will be good to go.
DO NOT USE ANY BIOS OR FIRMWARE DOWNLOADS FROM THIS LINK
The three devices you listed need the following drivers from the above model:
PCI Device -- Realtek Card Reader driver (under Storage)
PCI Simple Communications Controller -- Intel Management Engine Interface (under Chipset)
SM Bus Controller -- Intel Chipset Installation Utility (under Chipset). Install this driver first before installing the graphics or any other driver you need.
