I am currently trying to download things from Microsoft Edge (like Steam and Skype), but nothing will seem to download. Please help me.

Hi,

 

Please try to use Windows Store to install those apps. For wxample

 

(a) Open Windows Store,

(b) Search for Skype,

(c) Install after accept fews things.

 

You may need to have a Microsoft account to be able to install.

but what about other things that i would like to download that isn't in the store? my browser won't let me download anything. not even Google Chrome

The problem is tied to Edge -- but here are some hints about dealing with this:  http://www.thewindowsclub.com/bypass-smartscreen-filter-ie-edge

 

Also, I do not use Edge on any of my Win10 PCs, but prefer to use Internet Explorer, instead.  If you're interested in doing that, here is some information:  http://www.tenforums.com/installation-setup/6310-how-reset-ie-default-browser-instead-edge.html
