Solved!

P2000-2C00 sys disabled 50137512. Requesting administrative password or Power on Password.

Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

P2000-2C00 shows system disabled 50137512. It was never set by the owner of the Pc. Is there a known causeof this?  I need to know how to fix this password. Can the administrativeor  power on password  be reset by a code fom HP Support?

PMoffler.

Use that code to go into the BIOS.

Disable all passwords that are enabled.

If asked for the CURRENT password use that code.

If asked for NEW password just hit enter.

If asked to VERIFY password just hit enter.

Save and exit.

Hi,

I tried in laptops with InsydeH2O BIOS, although the password and this preset, automatically it clean when using the unlock code and you do not need to do anything else.
