Panel Separation HP Envy

HP Envy 15T - J100
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)
My HP Envy 17" 15T - J100 has a panel separation issue. Every time I open my laptop the base panel separates near the left hinge. I noticed this recently and soon after the problem wprsened. Now my computer won't turn on and the last time it did I got a black screen with a prompt like "does not boot" or something along those lines. Anyways like I said now it won't even turn on, it looks like a lot of people had this problem and I'm hoping there is a solution. Also my warranty expired so I need an actual solution.

Thank You,
Jason S

Panel Separation HP Envy

Hi sir
As my experience I want to share something with you.
1- you remove your battery and then plug in once again.
2. If this is permanently then you have to change your supplies cable of display.
Please try it

@Jcshee

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.
