ENVY TS m7
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)
I have an HP System Model HP ENVY TS m7 Notebook PC running Windows 8.1
(awaiting update to Windows 10 due to a restore after a previous OS crash) with
BIOS Version/Date Insyde F.65, of 11/20/2014.

Both the HP Support Assistant and a scan at the HP website http://support.hp.com
/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-touchsmart-m7-j000-notebook-pc-series/53549...
have strongly recommended BIOS update to Insyde F.66. I have downloaded the BIOS
update, rebooted, and made multiple attempts to install it. Each time the
installation fails, and recovers BIOS version F.65. The download is identified
as Bios 3.6.3.0.

Please advise on how I may successfully update to BIOS F.66.

Thank you. I appreciate any help you may offer.

Cheers and best regards,
Joel

BTW, Millions of folks have gone back from Win10 to their prior O/S -- something you don't hear about from MS. by WAWood but ALL to TRUE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those that want HD Gaming should plan to invest in a Gaming Laptop to handle those requirements. Eamples GTA V or Crysis 3.
