Plugged in but not charging...

Hp envy 15 x360pc
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a hp envy 15 x360 pc laptop windows 10. Battery icon on the bottom right of the screen says "plugged in and not charging.if i keep it plugged in i can use it after waiting a while so that it actually turns on. If i unplug it the laptop will shut off on the spot. I tried everything i can possibly think of, also tried everything said on the forums and as directed by hp support assistant. Last i tried was the battery check. Status was "primary battery unknown"(93). Im at a lost... I need help plsssss!

I understand that you are having an issue with the battery charging, and wanted to assist you!  I see that you already performed the battery test.

 

Try removing and reinserting the battery.  Check to see if you have any updates in the HP Support Assistant.  In particular, try updating the BIOS, using the document here: 

HP Notebook PCs - Updating the BIOS
