Hi,

Manual: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04642245

I understand that your model has non removable battery

Uninstall Microsoft ACPI compliance battery and AC adapter driver from Device Manager completely

Shut down laptop

Do a hard reset : https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01684768

Remove AC adapter from notebook

Then reload BIOS to default: http://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c00034791

Save and exit. Continue to load Windows competely.

Shut down again. Plug in AC adapter now.

Restart notebook again.

See if windows is detecting battery and adapter, and plugged in and charging correctly.
