Product: Compaq Presario CQ61
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

The power button has broken on my Compaq laptop. Is there ANY way to configure it to fire up with the keyboard, or the like?  At the moment, I'm "hotwiring" it (with a paperclip!) through the hole where the button was. It works, but would prefer something a little easier (rather than taking it apart or to the shop).

I should add there's an app that allows you to remap the keyboard, but does it get power when the PC is off?
