Problem with Hp DVDRam GU90N

Hello,

I've got a question to the Hp DVDRam GU90N.

After the update to Windows 10 , the optical drive of my HP Envy 17-K102NG bugs. After starting the system: One time it's there, one time not. I cannot recognize a logical pattern.

 

Can somebody help me?

See if performing the procedure listed in Resolution Step 5 at the link below resolves the problem.

Are you kidding? There is no solution 5 in that link. Has the link been updated since you used it? Do you mean solution 4?

Why would I reference a solution #5 if one was not there when the original question was asked?

 

Yes, the current #4 used to be #5.

 

Microsoft removed the resolution step that had been #2.
