Probook 4540s 12GB Ram installed, 10.4 GB usable

Product Name: Probook 4540s
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I have a Probook 4540s and have recently upgraded it from 6 to 12 GB RAM. (the two RAM sticks have identical timing)

Because of the degrade of performance after installing more than 8GB of RAM

(as described in this topic http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Desktop-Boot-and-Lockup/Performance-degrades-in-Probook-4540s-after-mem...),

I had to us msconfig to set the memory limit to 12032 MB.

However, windows now says that only 10.4 GB is usable. I really appreciate your help.
