IDT HD Audio driver from driverpack sp65138 wont install correctly from SCCM with task sequence. The speaker icon in taskbar has a red cross and says "No device for audio playback is installed". Device manager looks ok until you get into properties for IDT that says "No drivers installed for this device". If I choose "upgrade driver" and "search automatically" the driver installs ok. What can we do to make the driver work from start?  OS is Win 7 Ent SP1.

i think it's a script problem with the driver

Test the same with the Windows Update Catalog driver

You must uninstall the both IDT Driver

Reboot

For installation deactivate the Virusscanner

and install the older sp64157.exe

BIOS setting is ok!

As I wrote in my first post, manual installation of the driver is no problem. It's the inf-file installation via SCCM, OSD, Task Sequence that wont work.

Thank you!

The driver from Microsoft Update Catalog worked great!
