Probook G4 USB-C charge capability

Probook G4

Hi,

I was wondering (just because I am interested) if the new Probook G4's support charging via USB-C. It isn't listed on the wesbite as far as I can see, but maybe there is someone that knows more about it.

Thanks in advance!

Sorry, I mean the 4xx range. Does the 2xx range have a type-C port?

Probook G4 USB-C charge capability

Hi,

The specs only says "USB Type-C™ and USB-C™ are trademarks of USB Implementers Forum".

    http://h20195.www2.hp.com/v2/getpdf.aspx/c05254141.pdf?ver=7.0

Since 4x0 laptops use USB Type-C™ and USB-C™ are trademarks of USB Implementers Forum, they must support USB-C™ specs to be able to carry USB Type-C™.

Regards.

So it depends on the definition of the USB-C standard. I will have a look at that, thanks!
