Hello, This is my first post as a newbie and i hope some one call help me 🙂 i have been looking for a Spectre x360 2016 version for some time now and everywere is out of stock. i have come accross one on gumtree but this the perosn selling it does not have the original purchase receipt due to revieving this as a birthday gift. can aneone assist with how i can get a copy of this reciept and a change of ownership? hope some one can advise me... thanks

My guess is that you are trying to "change ownership" because you are then expecting the warranty to transfer to you -- which I believe is NOT the case.

 

But, we are not authorized to address warranty issues in this forum, so to be sure, you really need to contact HP Customer Support and check on the warranty transfer issue.

Hi WAWOOD,

thank you for the quick reply, the warranty has expired last month, I do want to change over the ownership and maybe get an extended warranty and also this is the only way I can stick it on my home insurance policy.

Understand, but we are unable to provide warranty assistance on this forum -- so you will have to contact HP Customer Support to see what extended warranty options are available to you.
