Question about wireless driver and Bios updating.

DM4-1006tx
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

My DM4-1006tx is quiet old one and now today I updated BIOS from F26 to F27.

F27 is found the web site(http://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/HP-Pavilion-dm4-Entertainment-Notebook-PC-series/415...

After Bios updating there is a problem occured with wireless lan.

Before Bios updating, the WLAN driver is sp57965 and it worked very well.

But now there WINDOWS can't find wireless lan adaptor with BIOS F27.

And other driver such as sp 49541 is not installed well.

On remarkerble thing is in the BIOS main screen, Bluetooth FCC ID is QDS-BRCM*** but WLAN FCC ID is  N/A.

It is supposed to be a broblem of WHITE LIST whit wireless lan card.

Right?

My H/W is never changed since I bought it and my lan card seems not to have FCC ID?

BIOS roll back to F26 or F23(frome HP web page, sp51954, sp50824) couldn't solve this problem.

HP RECOVERY was also not the solution.

What can I do?

Question about wireless driver and Bios updating.

Hello @soo4,

Thank you for visiting the HP Forums! The Forums are a great place where you can find solutions for your issues, with help from the community!

I read your post about the BIOS update, and wanted to assist you!  I understand that you starting having issues after the update.  You were unable to resolve the issue by rolling back the BIOS version, or by using the HP Recovery Manager.

Did you try performing a System Restore, to set the notebook back to its previous working state?  If that does not work, then try restoring the BIOS.  You can review the following documents for additional help.  Please post back with the results:

HP Notebook PCs - Restoring the BIOS
