RAM upgrade to 8GB from 4GB

@Dunidar thank you for the quick reply. Could you please confirm if I can upgrade my RAM from 4GB to 8GB. 

 

Specs of my Mahchine are as follows 

 

HP G72 Notebook PC - b20SA

RAM 4GB

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium - Service Pack 1.  64-bit

I understand you are looking to upgrade your RAM on your HP G62-b20SA Notebook PC. I am providing you with a link to the Compaq Presario CQ62 Notebook PC and HP G62 Notebook PC Maintenance and Service Guide, which you will see on page 2 your computer will supports up to 8 GB of dual-channel memory DDR3, 1333 MH SODIMM RAM in the following configurations:

  • 4096 MB (2048 MB × 2)
  • 3072 MB (1024 MB × 1 + 2048 MB × 1)
  • 2048 MB (2048 MB × 1)
  • 2048 MB (1024 MB × 2)
  • 1024 MB (1024 MB × 1)

You will also notice on page 50 the part number for the various RAM if you want to purchase if from the HP Parts Store, as well as the instructions on how to go about changing your RAM.
