Bios Password HP Envy Reset

System Disable due to BIOS unknown password is i 85655552 But the code suggested 30733594 never worked on 

HP ENVY 15-j049tx Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)

The unlock code that I posted is correct for the halt i[85655552], so it may be worth double-checking that the halt code you posted is definetely correct.

The position of the prefix 'i' does not have any relevance as far as the unlock code is concerned - I have double-checked the code I posted and it is definetely correct for your halt code.

One further option would be to shut down the notebook, unplug the AC Adapter and then remove the battery.  Hold down the Power button for 30 seconds.  Plug in the AC Adapter ( leave the battery out for the moment ), start the notebook and try entering the code 12448913 again.
