Realtek RTL8188EE 802.11 b/g/n wifi adapter failed

I have an HP labtop running windows 8 and just recently... in the last few days no wireless connections can be found. I ran the troubleshoot and these error messaages showed up.

* the one in the subject line ( Realtek RTL8188EE failed
* a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken.

 

this is for an HP 15 notebook PC (labtop)

I grasp you have lost your wireless and when you ran the troubleshooter you received two resulsts.

* the one in the subject line ( Realtek RTL8188EE failed
* a network cable is not properly plugged in or may be broken.

 

 

Have you tried reseating the wireless card?

Have you tested for hardware failure? Testing for Hardware Failures (Windows 😎
