Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8 (64-bit)

Hello,

 

I recently experienced a hardrive failure and wasn't able to create a recovery disk/kit on time. I have been browsing the support section and forums to order a recovery kit but to no avail. Here are my CPU infos :

 

- HP Pavilion dv7-7191sf

- Product Number : B7R48EA#ABF

 

I've contacted HP support but the only option i get is to ask in forums.

Thank you. I just moved to the US but purchased my notebook in Europe. According to the links the exact recovery kit is available in Europe but not in the US. Is it ok to use just any dv7 recovery kit?

I have asked HP if a recovery kit for a notebook with an identical platform chipset from the same model series will work.

 

I hope to have an answer on that sometime today or tomorrow.
