Recovery failed any one consider my post please

Im still trying with my cd system of hp dv6 that I made the moment I bought the computer..<br>I wanted a dual boot win 7 that I already had with ubuntu that I made mistake by making the c as swap..any way not the problem!<br><br>Now I can't complete the restore operation with the 4 cd's !! After waiting 2 hours to complete the operation and remove the last cd and restart as requested...I find a page with ( restoration not completed ) and 3 options save log, details, retry..and after pressing retry says to put recovery cd 1 and after it doesn't load and automatically eject the cd!<br>Any help please

Recovery failed any one consider my post please

When requesting assistance, please provide the complete model name and/or product number of the HP computer in question. HP/Compaq makes thousands of models of computers. Without this information it may be difficult or impossible to assist you in resolving your issue.

 

The above requested information can be found on the bottom of your computer, inside the battery compartment or on the startup BIOS screen. Please DO NOT include your serial number. Please enter the model/product information into HP's Online Consumer Support page and post it here for our review.

While I may not be able to resolve your issue, I may be able to direct you to Factory HP Reocvery Discs or an alternative method of reinstalling the operating system.
