Reset bios password

HP EliteBook 8760w
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Hello,

Does anyone know how to reset the BIOS password on the ELITBOOK 8760w, i have lose my password & when i would like to enable the virtualisation mode i can't enter to bios administration

 

Note; i have a new version of BIOS

Dear Customer,

 

Please contact HP technical support at 866 625 1175  ( for elitebooks)

They will require the  UUID and serial number from the F1 screen and will be sending a file to reset the BIOS password

 

Or you could also start a chat session using the below link

I have tryed to contact hp in www.hp.com/go/ispe but they tell me yhay my SN; (removed content) is not valide???

Hi, Please contact the Voice support  on 866 625 1175 and provide them both Serial number and product number which would be useful to pull up the unit's information, as said we would need the UUID for the issue.
