HP 15-bw011dx notebook
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello. We have an HP 15-bw011dx notebook computer that has a BIOS administrator and power-on password that we do not know the password. I've tried unplugging, removing the battery, and also removing the CMOS battery for 15 minutes.

It stated on reboot that the CMOS was reset, but it still prompts for the password. After a few failed attempts, it shows this:

Can someone help bypass/reset this? I've tried the web script that is referenced in some similar threads about BIOS password resets, but it does not work with the code I'm given (I've tried without the i<space> and with them). And I've also tried with an inverted exclamation mark ¡ since I'm not 100% certain if it's that or a letter i. :indifferent:

Due to changes in the rules of HP forum we are no longer allowed to help with BIOS passcodes. You will need to contact HP Support.

I have already done it and they did not want to help me they sent me to an unofficial technical support, I am desperate, I have already tried all the methods to reset the password bios and it did not work. 😞

What do you mean by Unofficial technical support?

I am truly sorry we can't help but HP makes the rules for the forum and if we want to be a member here we must abide by them.
