Will Microsoft buy me a new laptop if my laptop hardware gets damaged because of the frequent hard resets ?

Today HP release new Display driver for my laptop

But once again, they give me useless driver. I can't install it again. It said my machine doesn't meet the minimum requirement.

Yeah, and Bill Gates will give it to you on special ceremony! See the post above yours.

Remove the old driver fully, restart your PC then install the new one.

I understand what your saying about the hard disk, it was something I also thought of. But who's to say it's shut off naturally just because it's stopped blinking? I get the impression that it crashes before the shutdown can finish properly. Also if you check your Event Viewer, you'll see there's 'critical errors' listed in the log files. The description says their critical because the laptop wasn't shut down properly, which backs up what I've just said.

Already did that with the previous driver which HP release it on July 29.

Uninstall it, restart it, and install the new driver, but still can't install it.

I don't think it's because of my laptop already have the old driver. The warning message tell me that my laptop seems don't have the windows 10, so that's why the installer refuse to install in my laptop.

I had the same issue when i tried to install the new driver. After removing the old one everything was fine. Your problem can be other, but be sure that you are checking the box when uninstalling to delete the driver from your PC.

So, after rebooting my laptop about 1000 times, suddenly it didn't turn on at all. Thanks Microsoft (and HP) for forcing me doing a format and losing my files...!!
