Serial number

Looking for the serial number & product number for an HP ENVY m4 laptop.  No stickers on the machine at all.  Need to do a OS wipe as well.

Thanks, TEF

Re: Serial number

You can find the serial number  and product number in the system information tab. Press the power button and immediately tap the Esc key to enter the startup menu. Choose System Information.

They can also be found in the HP Support Assistant at the bottom of the windows.

Removng the battery should  reveal a label with product identification information.

Re: Serial number

Thank you! Most of the info is on the computer battery like you suggested.
Great job!
