Dear @KZarka ,
try to use HP Power Manager, with this application you can do the same.

Hello @Resistencia

unfortunately, it did not work and charging still goes to 100%,

I have download HP power management and have set it to Maximize My battery health and it did not work, even after notebook restarting,

please check if you have an updated BIOS.

and then go to Windows Update and check if you have any firmware updates in optional drivers.

Since BIOS version 1.17 when Windows displays battery charge, it will indicate 100% even though the 'Battery Health Manager' setting is set to 'Maximize my battery Health', and will only charge to about 80% to protect from further potential damage and swelling, and to indicate that the charging system assume 100%, with that setting, means keep battery charging up to around 80%. The updated power manager app (install from softpaq) should provide more details, if interested

I work for HP. However, all opinions and comments are my own.

Dear @soccer_dan

It is interesting. I have a Zbook power, but it works differently.. or better, I don't know if it is working properly.

In my case when the light is orange, it starts charging, then the light  (led) goes to white and is at 80% charge, but if I do not remove the AC it goes to 100% and then I have no more charge led indicator is off.

Is this normal ?
