Even I ran into the same issue today. unknowingly installed the 15" Firmware and now my 13" is producing random touch inputs. I disabled the Touch Screen for now. But HP should release a firmware for 13" models too. Please if anyone knows how to resolve this, let me know.

it would be great if this issue could be fixed as soon as possible! I really consider to sell this laptop because of the touch lag.

Hi @

It's been 3 months now and there's still no solution. I don't understand why this is such a difficult thing to solve for a big company like HP. I think it could/should have been solved in no more than 4 weeks.

Instead of the several referrals we go through, this problem could've been brought to the attention of the team who's responsible for releasing driver and firmware updates, and that team would've contacted the engineers responsible for designing the touchscreen and asked them for the original firmware. Then, they could've uploaded it and our problem would've been solved.

But still, 3 months in, and we're still waiting for an update. The 2018 will be released soon, so I see our purchase as a waste of money now. We haven't been able to enjoy our expensive products, and we can't get the 2018 features.
