Hi  I am in peru.  The electricity here is 220V.  Is it safe for me to re-charge my computer here?  Do I need some sort of adaptor?  My charger has things written on it but it is really hard to tell what it says.

THank you!  I don't want to wreck my new computer!!!

Hi@PoppyVilla,

Thanks for stopping by HP Support Forums.

I came across your post and would like to help.

Need assistance in understanding the specifications of the Notebook charger. Is that, correct?

Yes, you can still use the adapter of the PC made for the USA in Peru as well. No problem what so ever.

These are smart adapters which will provide the steady voltage for the battery to charge evenly irrespective of the out voltage.

Hope the solution answers your query. Feel free to reply back for more.
