Hello! I do hope you can help me with my spectre x360. It suddenly shut down while I was using it and it didn't start up ever since. I tried to hard reset it but eventually there was a burning smell located at the back cover of the unit and in the power socket.
What should I do with this issue? I would greatly appreciate any comments and suggestions. Thank you!
I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If your device is out of warranty and you are willing to open it up, it would be interesting to find out where and why the burning smell originated. Some of us who have been burned (pun intended) by HP's design faults in the past would like to be able to prevent the same failures occurring again.
