System Recovery File Copy Issue

Product Name: 15-af141au
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Facing issue while running System Recovery Disk 1....

 

 

File Copy Fails

 

From E:\PRELOAD\BASE22.swm

To Z:\RM\IMAGE\BASE.22.swm

 

process freezed at 22%

 

and

 

From E:\PRELOAD\BASE21.swm

To Z:\RM\IMAGE\BASE.21.swm

 

Process freezed at 17%

 

no external device attached .....Recovery Discs are also verified by HP support executive.

 

What to do now ??? :(

I came across your post about the System Recovery issue, and wanted to help!  I understand that the process freezes during recovery.

 

Are you not able to recover using the Recovery Manager?  Try reviewing the following document, and let me know how it goes:

HP PCs - Performing an HP System Recovery (Windows 10)

 

If you are still having trouble, are you able to try the Microsoft Push-Button Reset?
