Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)
I was trying to restore my system to factory settings. Once the laptop rebooted I got the error message 'UIA write failed tried 3 times' also the recovery log indicates the system think i do not have enough memory for 64 bit os. I have 8 gigs and tested through f2 that they are good. I tried multiple times now my laptop only boots to recovery mode , nothing else.

I also tried marking c: as active volume from cmd in recovery mode but didn't help.

I have recovery drive setup in d:// but I do not have recovery or windows disks.

Please advise.

Did you test the hard drive in F2?

Yup, everything passed.

I can see memory in BIOS as well, not sure why the recovery is complaining.
