Hello @andresvite10 ,
Welcome to the HP Forums!
I understand you're having issues with audio on your notebook.
Can you tell me what kind of device your connecting, or if the speakers are not producing sound?
It would also help to know which notebook you are using and the installed operating system. For information on finding your product and model numbers click here: How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number? To see which version of Windows you are using click here: Which Windows operating system am I running?
If the speakers are not producing sound and your PC is not detecting them as connected you're most likely looking at a hardware issue. Try headphones or external speakers to confirm that only the speakers are the problem.
If it's headphones or external speakers you are trying to use try them in another computer. It could be a couple different thing in this case. Depending on which device your connecting power could be an issue. There may not be enough power passing through the output jack to provide enough supply to power the hardware, assuming the device doesn't have its own power supply of course.
Please provide an update with some more specific information about the issue and I'll do my best to help you with this.
