Typing jerks and lags

HP Recommended
HP Flyer Red
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My laptop is only about three months old but when I type it lags pretty badly. It does it in MS documents or when I type anywhere online. Typing on this computer is becoming something I avoid. I'm not sure what could be causing it.

It sounds like it has thermal overload problems. Is the vents blocked when your using it? Boot into SafeMode...F8 during the boot screen and let it sit there and see what happens.

BTW, Millions of folks have gone back from Win10 to their prior O/S -- something you don't hear about from MS. by WAWood but ALL to TRUE
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Those that want HD Gaming should plan to invest in a Gaming Laptop to handle those requirements. Eamples GTA V or Crysis 3.

Hi

Well I would look to Task Manager and see what resources are being consumed.

Lag like you describe suggests the machine is always busy, and hence the mention in the above post of running hot.

If it is busy, CPU and Memory usage high, then look for programs that have dominated your machine.  Also Anti-Virus scan and MalwareBytes scan or similar.

Unload/Stop any programs/services you can.  Try typing in something simple like Notepad and comparing results.

If in doubt please ask.
