I have an HP Pavilion g6-1d98dx Notebook PC and my keyboard started to fail.
I am wondering if I can change the keyboard to a full-size one like the one on the
HP Pavilion g6-2235us laptop, since it has a bigger keyboard with numpad. I know that this would involve changing the palmrest touchpad as well.
It doesn't have to be THAT model, ANY touchpad and keyboard that fits and works would be fine.
It wouldn't be a problem for me if I had to make driver or firmware mods or changes if necessary.
Thanks a lot for any help you can provide on this,

Please see these maintenance and service guides for the HP Pavilion g6-2235us Notebook Computer and the HP Pavilion g6-1d98dx Notebook Computer. There are no shared chassis, motherboard, or keyboard components on these two models. The likelyhood of a keyboard from any other model fitting, is a going to be next to nothing. Sorry, but you will just have a use the p/n from the service guide.
