Your BIOS package is sp54724 ! please confirm this again yourself via hp downloads

Backup & follow all safety advise when flashing bios files ...

No Whitelist bios allows any wifi card be used .

modded bios also has unlocked hidden bios menu/settings .

I would like to have the list of acceptable WLAN cards first.

Is there a way to read that from the bios file? What tool to

read it from? I also have read that the Bluetooth capability

might be rejected.

This link fails to install the bios. Any ideas like "Run as  Admin" needed?

Regular BIOS installs a second time just fine. So it must be the BIOS code.

Any other suggestions for code?

White List for the dv6-6135dx WLAN cards

With BIOS tools I have located the Whitelist of this machine:

Ralink RT5390, 802.11b/g/n

Realtek RLT8188CE, 802.11b/g/n

Realtek RLT8188CEB8, 802.11b/g/n + bluetooth

Atheros AR5B195, 802.11b/g/n + bluetooth

Broadcom BCM1051, 802.11b/g/n + bluetooth

No wireless N 5.0GHz in the lot which is what I wanted.

I may brave the BIOS mod one day to plaace my intel AC card into the list.

Are there and whitelist removed BIOSes that install out there

and don't block because of bluetooth versions?
