Pavilion 17-FF132ds notebook
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Trying to order recovery media dtd Jan. 2015. Website sends me around in circles. ID Product Pavilion 17-F132ds. Select SW - recovery media Win 8.1 64-bit. result (1) consumer desktop - I have a laptop.  Select order media -  find your item by entering SN, PN, or Model.  START AGAIN!!!!

Also tried filling out the form per suggestion to call in to HP support and actuallytalk to a real person.  Well, first fill out form describing your problem. Next enter all contact info. Check solution - product out of warranty - post your query on the forum.  I guess after warranrty expiration, nobody at HP wants anything to do with the expired item or the customer.

This is per another response for my original issue of no boot device found - please install an OS.  This message after I installed an UEFI update direct from HP. Wrong update or bad update?

Hi:

I see where you can order recovery media for your notebook directly from this link...

Before you do that, I would try making your own W8.1 installation media to reinstall W8.1, and then install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page below.
