Windows 10 fingerprint sensor problem

Hp 4540s
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using Windows 10 on a laptop hp 4540s. Fingerprint sensor worked properly, but today suddenly stopped working. Even in the device manager will not be displayed. Please help me

Thanks for the response, but this solution does not work. Fingerprint sensor works correctly, but suddenly stopped working

Hi @Meysam98,

 

 

Thanks for the update.

 

Kindly check in Device manager whether Validity sensor is available under Biometric or not.

 

And refer to below link to Troubleshooting a Fingerprint Reader issue:

After all the troubleshooting , if the issue remains same then I would suggest you to contact Hp technical support and raise the concern.
