Windows stuck at "Loading Windows" Screen ad BIOS not opening

[ Edited ]

Hello,
I have Windows 7 and Windows 8 installed on my laptop HP DV6-2170EE.
Suddenly, my Windows 7 got stuck while starting at "Loading Windows" screen but Windows 8 is working fine.
While reinstalling Windows 7, the installation again stops at the same screen.

Also BIOS is not opening, nothing happens if I press F10 in the startup otions (Esc key) but other Function keys are working like F8-Boot Device Options etc.

Please help regarding this.

Thanks in advance
Wamiq

Hi Wamiq_saifi,

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have read your thread on your HP Pavilion dv6-2170ee  Notebook and Windows 7 not opening correctly. Here is a link to Windows will not start. Please note remove any and all USB devices, and remove memory cards from the card reader slot. Disconnect all non-essential devices.

Hope this helps.

Thanks.

Hi Mrs. Tenter,
Thanks for your reply.

First regarding the BIOS, there was a problem with F10 key on my laptop keyboard which wasn't working and now I have access to BIOS using external keyboard.

Coming to the Windows problem, I tried Boot Logging and the contents "ntbtlog.txt" file are(seems like there are many drivers which aren't loading) :

Hey Wamiq_saifi,

Try to perform a hard reset. Please remove any and all USB devices, and remove memory cards from the card reader slot. Disconnect all non-essential devices. Here is a link to perform a system restore.

I do think that you need to try to repair Windows using your Windows disc.

Please let me know how this goes.

Thanks.
