I just installed Windows 7 and Installed the same wireless driver which my old windows xp pro used to have. But with windows 7, it does not work at all, I downloaded all the drivers for nc6000 for wireless but nothing...
my s/n is CNU512121N
My laptop also has Ubuntu 9.10 and everything works fine, and I need windows 7 for my school.
in windows XP the driver is HP 802.11 W500 DRIVER for the wireless and it works perfectly but with windows 7 it does not work. I cannot find the driver anywhere, can anyone help me?
I hope somebody can help me, thank you!

at frst try uninstalling the drivers from the device manager.make sure that when you are uninstalling it check that box that says delete driver software.in windows 7
then connect your laptop to the ethernet cable
then go to the device manager once again and get into action tab and hit scan for hardware changes.once the drivers appear on the list right click on the driver and hit update driver software and let the windows find the compatible drivers for you laptop.
if you can, download the drivers from the ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp46001-46500/sp46174.exe.
HIT STAR IF THIS WORKS OUT.
